Does anyone on here know about them breaking off on the 2012 xp I had mine broke off on me and it's the same problem everyone is claiming on here with the xm and them getting a recall notice. I haven't received any notice on mine but it's the same problem as the xm. Seems like they knew about...
I own a 2012 summit 800 etec xp and the I already experiences this happening to me. My knee hit the oil tank and twisted it slightly and broke fitting off. Stranded out in mountains with this broken nipple sucks!!!
Same thing happen to me. Hit a rock broke the arm off and sled just bogged down like it was flooded. Got it back to the shop and found that the nipple broke off the fuel pump. What a shifty design. So beware all ski doo owners. My sled is a 2012 summit etech 800 rev xp.

-thumb warmer just goes up by itself.
-DESS key always hard to find the right spot sometimes.
- Hit about 400km on it the RPM went from 7000 to 8000, this is a good thing.
These are the only issues I have had.
Yeah they must have. Doors were locked when I left and alarm set. But an alarm isn't any good if no one is around to hear it. Couldn't see any marks on the vechile from it and they got to my truck probably between 12 and 2. It was snowing heavy that day that there wasn't even any tracks around...
I was at the lot by the pass booth. I would consider paying a little extra on my pass to make sure my truck and personal stuff is safe. I'm just glad that they didn't break the windows in my truck to get inside.
Went into Quartz yesterday. It was super deep powder in past the cabin, there was some old tracks but never really felt them. The snow was constantly going over the hood! The risk of avy is high back in there, I wouldn't do any hill climbing back in there as a pair of guys found out the hard way...
