I'm STILL having issues with my Bog on my 11 Assault too. I put a Jaws can on mine, and it bogs exactly the same as you are describing. I took the Jaws can off, installed my stock can, and had it taken to the dealer after describing the bog to them. They adjusted the TPS and I took it out for a...
Hey Folks,
So I was having the famous Mid Range Bog going on with my 2011 Assault, so I took it in to the dealer, and they adjusted the TPS. I had my stock can on when they did the adjustment. I brought it back and went for a ride, and the bog was gone, and it hauled ass like never before...
Well boys, I finally got my sled over to Sea to Sky Motorsports in Langley. I dropped it off to have the oil line recall done, and I told the service dept to try and find the reason for my famous bog while they were at it. Chris in the service dept was awesome, and my sled was in and out, in...
This is interesting? Mine did that today twice as well. Would it be possible that the TPS is causing this issue, and my bogging issue at the same time Sevens? It also sounded like my sled was cutting in and out under steady low RPM.
2011 Pro Assault 155", 445 Miles. Been chasing a Bog since I bought it. Can't find the reason for it yet. It's going in for the Oil Line Recall next week, but besides that, It's the envy of the Mountain! Great sled all around, but the Midrange Bogging IMO is a big upset for Polaris, considering...
Thank you for the sheet Only Polaris. Are you a Polaris Tech? Sounds to me like your pretty up to date with this issue on the Pro's. I appreciate your help.
Is your Pro an 11 or 12 3 Pin? It sounds like your having the same crap going on as the rest of us....but most Polaris Dealerships are saying that they are hardly seeing any 11 or 12 Pro's come into their shops with problems! I'm calling BS by all the threads I've seen with these machines to date!
That would be much appreciated Only Polaris! I totally agree with you MarkCos! I have been a faithful Polaris guy my whole life, and I am not impressed with Polaris Customer Service, or Polaris Industries period! My sled only has 443 Km's on it, and because it's off warranty now, they have...
Just to add, it doesn't seem to want to get over 7900 RPM's either. It has hit 8100 once or twice, but I have never had it bounce off the Rev Limiter. Usually because it bogs before it get's up there first. Clutches have been reshimmed, rebuttoned and belt deflection adjusted to Polaris specs...
Well....I changed the plugs and gapped them to Polaris specs, checked the wires etc. Tried running different Fuel without ethanol as well. Rode the sled and did some Resistor plug tests. I changed over to the ethanol plug, and the bog actually got worse, and started running rich. Changed back to...
I have been a Polaris Guy for 20 + years. I recently rode an 05 900 RMK 159" with all the added on SLP Performance Package, Holz Suspension etc. I bought an 11 Assault 155", and I'm here to tell you that this new Pro is the most incredible sled I have ever ridden! I am 285 lbs, and this sled...
Ok Fella's. I will give your suggestions a whirl, and see what I come up with. I really appreciate your input on this issue. I'm really hoping to solve this issue sooner than later!
Thanks much!!
I'm running the Non-Eth Plug, and I only use Chevron Supreme 94 or 91 Octane faithfully Zmoke. I was told that Chevron didn't have Ethanol in their high octane fuel. I'm starting to wonder if maybe this isn't the case? I have never had a problem with any other of my Polaris Sleds using that fuel...
Alright Guys, does anyone have any new information, or an actual fix from Polaris to cure this Bogging Issue yet? I have a 2011 Assault, and I can't get this bog to go away for anything, and quite frankly it's really pissing me off! The Sled is awesome....except the bog, which is really cramping...
