Agreed.
I was on the fence as well, hoping to get on a demo ride this month and make a final decision. I guess I'll ride my 12 another year (the MTNTK Drop In kit only has 300 miles on it anyway), and try to ride one next year, and snowcheck a 17. Though, I did ride a T3 74 this year, and and I...
I took mine right off. You do need to put a little more body english into the corners on the trails. I do find it rather different than it was stock, but I also put Raptor TRS on at the same time I took off the sway bar, which probably makes the bigger difference.
If you are going to take the sway bar out, make sure you do it before loosening off the pre-load on the front. Or if you are doing it the other way around, un-weight BOTH Skis then loosen off the pre-load. I did what Staple suggested for pre-load on my skis, when I first got the sled, but...
That would be pretty funny, I was assuming you were wearing the TekVest. I don't have any armour in my Highmark Vest, but wear MotoX armour underneath.
Oh, they were doing something wrong. As in forgetting to put the scratchers down. When they don't come stock for so long, I guess guys forget they have them.
I'd agree with that for the 2015 season. Most innovation for this year for sure (even if it was just a drop & roll). I thought I would be hearing more about the Viper MTX this year. Really looking forward to seeing what else Polaris has to unveil at the beginning of March, and to see what the...
Thanks! I may actually need new skis (or one ski) because of the stock Polaris rubber. I had one come out half way, and it bent the plastic that holds it in pretty good. I haven't lost another rubber recently, and the Rev rubber will probably hold in there still. Maybe I'm just looking for a...
It's the old Rev rubbers that fit in there better. I need to do the same thing. There is the part number somewhere, you just need to use that search function in the top right.
Still waiting to hear back from the OP about his current skill level and intentions for the bike. I believe a GSXR 600 or 750 is a lot of bike for someone who is just learning. Perhaps if they've done a GOOD Motorcycle training course, they have the right skills to handle one. If you are looking...
The steering is one of those you love it or hate it things. I hate the pro steering when I'm on the trail, or trying to maneuver it around at slow speeds on flat ground, basically whenever it is on 2 skis. But when it is on edge, that is when I love the vertical steering and think it really...
By his comment, I would guess no. I ride one, never had a problem with getting my foot stuck, and I'm in the footwells all the time. Though, I have a 12 with Feethookers inserts (which has the first cleat pointed backwards).
I hardly call buying something at the beginning of December a left over. It's the same as buying cars, there are always perks at certain times of the year. Would you be complaining if you bought a vehicle a month before the Employee Pricing sale? You know it's going to happen.
