Also check out You Tube there is a good video showing how to do this. Just search out TPS adjustment on snowmobile or polaris. Forget which one I did. Also there are lots of links on internet on how to build the tool for about $18 from radio shack.
Almost sounds like what happened to mine recently but I had dash lights flickering also. Turns out my voltage regulator was gone and needed the newer one and also my TPS needed adjusting.
It appears I may have a VR problem from reading the forums. Does anyone know how to test one? It is 5 hours to the dealer from me.
My idle does not stay consistent and the dash lights and lights flicker. :realmad:
I have a multimeter but have not done a lot with it. I can figure it out of someone can walk me through it.
How much is a regulator? Seems to be pointing that way from what I have read.
