Better check the the sliding sheave bushing also. I think I made a mistake and directed you to the wrong bushing. The govenor bushing is about 1.1/4 inch high and the sheave bushing is about 3/4 inch high.To change the sheave bushing you need a special removal/ install tool.

that is the bushing from your govenor cup. stop at Banner rec in Vernon on Friday (open) About $50 for a new cup with bushing. The plastic bushing is to help hold the spring in line during shift out. ps. when was the last time you pulled your clutch apart?

I torque mine to 95 ft/lbs. Re-torque 3 times after 3 seperate run ups. Have done since brand new.
