Broke out km 27 into the black water. 92cm probed in the black water meadows. 120cms probed bear the gas drop. Staged just passed the bridge at Km2. Good day but could use another dump.
My Nephew has a tough day for his first trip ever. Lol.
Rode Bell today. It did rain a bit up top. We played in the trees and the meadows there was about 3’ of semi settle snow due to rain. It was sticky stuff but still some fun to be had.
Well Fred.......
I own a 14 XM and a 850 Gen4. Ive taken them both to the hills on 5 trips this year. My buddy and I switch back and forth regularly for the purpose of comparison between the two. I love the XM, but the 850 does EVERYTHING better.
We tried to break out the black water but never got passed the second creek. Lol.
Tons of snow on zero base.
But fun as s***

Had a good 4 days in McBride. They sure do need more snow. We rode Renshaw on Sat we drove to km 8 staged in about 8"of snow. There was only a foot and a half at km 27. One in our group made it to the cabin (a local) I didn't want to destroy a second sled in the same trip. lol.
Friday on Bell a...
Bell had a bunch more snow today but still need more.
I let a buddy try the new 850 and he had a big oops.
Pretty sure it's a write off.

Hard to test it out with the conditions. But what I did get to do I was totally impressed with it.
The clutching is unbelievable, very responsive. Compared to my 14 XM? There isn't any and I love that machine. :)

Left from the parking lot in about 3" of snow. Pretty skinny on the way up and no more than a foot and a half up top. But as I said snowing now and more in the forecast tomorrow.
