i LOVE threads like this. its nice to see people put the love, time, and money into the cool old bikes... keep the pictures coming. details of the parts that got you stuck as well. whenever im rebuilding an engine or a bike there always seems to be a part that i get snagged on.
I spend lots of time in salmon arm. Its a nice place, but you should look into life in Revelstoke. Its a pretty amazing town. just sayin.

Just an FYI, Revelstoke hasn't had anything but sun and good weather the last few weeks. Tons of amazing dirtybiking to be had, and more and more becoming available the more the snow melts up the mountains

If I was still around there I'd definitely go north just a bit to the Vega area. So many trails and good camping spots. Big sand hills, lots of regular trails and a bit if muskeg if you're lookin for it.
I've used windex before. Like the soap idea, you cam kind if move it around for positioning. Once you have it where you want it leave for a while and the alcohol dissolves leaving a good "stick".
Worked for me in the past at least.
Ive had a pair of Dunlops last me for over a year and a half now and they arent shoing even the smalles bit of ware. Any other boot is going to soak up invert and never let go of it.
I'd never even think for a second about using a boot other than the Dunlops. Even in the summer they are...
