I have someone who purchased a Sled Trailer from me. With the Fires, their trip to Edmonton was cancelled, so looking to see if anyone is heading that way that would want to tow a trailer? Let me know, if so!
Thanks Ron! Amazing to watch and cheer our kids growing up! Here is a picture of Alyssa sledding at Xmas! Her team mates were not overly happy with me showing them what she does on the snow! lol
My 2014 Summit won't start (often) with the electric start. Battery is fine, and I can hot-wire it by connecting the seleniod posts, or batter to the seleniod with a screw driver - starts easy. I replaced the solenoid thinking that was the issue, but same result. I have checked the fuses, and...
Started with Brian H and Ron, but only had 1.5 hours to kill. It was worth it! Weather got socked in, and we didn't have time to wait it out - wish we did though~!!!
This happens in all walks of life. Cool that there are so many GOOD people in this sport, and can't wait to hang with them again soon. We have a family trip planned for April, and hearing from everyone here definitely helps with making the girls be comfortable. Thanks and see you on the...
Agreed - We were just about to call them. BUT, hoping they would get bored and go away/pass out. Cops usually means a long night anyhow and then worrying about my truck and gear afterwards. Better that they got no response and eventually went away. Unfortunately the damage was already done...
Yeah, that was the problem. Me confronting them would have ended a lot worse than it did. My guess is that it would not have been a rational chat, and too many scenarios have a bad-ending.
My wife and I were in McBride this weekend, and it was terrific to see so many families there. I have had both my daughters with me this year, and take my wife as much as she is able to go. The group we ride with is amazing - you guys know who you are!
BUT, It's unfortunate a "few"...
Thanks for allowing us to tag along, Ron! It was a great day, although I sure hope that Brian's sled was able to be pulled out without too much trouble on Sunday. Lets make sure we connect again before the season is done! Thanks for a great day to the whole crew!
I have a 8" riser on my 2014 Summit, which is my daughter's sled. She is a little too short for this, so wondering if anyone has a shorter riser sitting in their shop that they want to get rid of? Im in Sherwood Park, so Edmonton area would be ok.
Sounds like the following:
- Check belt setup / deflection
- Change springs
- Change weights, and make sure they are the right ones
- Clean Clutch
I will start with these and then also have a look at the exhaust valves, but I think they are opening ok.
BTW, Yes, she can ride, but I was riding...
I have 2 2016 Polaris RMK's (SKS Models), and noticed a difference in them. My Wife's runs at around 8050 rpm when climbing in deep snow. Mine hits 7600 - 7800 at most. Any suggestions on what to check would be appreciated. It pains me to see her climbing past my stuck ass! lol.
Ron, thanks to you and rest of the crew for allowing my family to tag along. Everyone was super helpful with Alyssa. I look forward to hooking up again!
I took the year off. Needed time to rest after 18 years of a crazy schedule. Ferbey and I will be playing again next year, but on a lighter schedule. I really enjoyed my time with family and getting out on the sled a little more!
