just consider that before you spend to much time and money figuring out if the motor is repairable, I would also consider looking into a new motor from BRP as I know they are very reasonable price wise compared to the other manufacturers... just some food for thought and you might get a new...
Sounds pretty much identical to what happened to one of our friends 2017 850, took it to Banner in Vernon I believe 5 or 6 times and they couldn't figure it out and it continued to use coolant, took it to Basecamp in Calgary and they figured it out in short order and it was a leaky water pump...
