Ok I am one of the strange sledders out there. I ride with an Oxygen Helmet but i ride in the west and really only in the mountains. I got a great deal on it 3 years ago. So far it has been the best helmet for me when it comes to fogging especially since i have to wear glasses. Cant get eye...
Its a long shot but does anyone know where any can be bought? Looking for small screen and ability to trade in current sled. Not me but for a buddy.
It appears to be slim pickings. I can only fine 1 black one in the 6 places i called.
well the shop i took it too seems to be a good one. I told them i was hearing a loud "pop" a few times on my last 2 rides last year and asked them about the reeds. Said they can check them but if they are fine then warranty wont cover them checking them.
I dont know if they were really bad...
Im with epcor for both or is it called encor by epcor whatever.
floating case is currently $1.28GJ and im on fixed electricity at $9.79. looks like i could get that 6.69cents/kwh on Spot Power as well until April 2025. likely worth switching
i guess i better put a reminder to check and see if...
I was on fixed for the last 5 years cause it was a great rate. Its not as great right now and floating rate is lower. Looking at the historical rates the last little while floating has always been lower except for one month in the summer if i am using the right source of information.
What...
i ended up going sleep country. it came down to i just found one that the salesman was a stand up dude that didnt try to $crew me over. Its the sister to the tempur pedic. Owned by tempur pedic but doesnt have the "nasa foam" cost. It was a toss up between that one and a wicked priced...
Strange question for a sled site but I figure there are likely lots of bigger guys on here with messed up backs and what not. Where do you guys buy your mattresses? Brand preference?
i total had a miss spelled word in my original post. i meant have massive ventilation not insulation. I actually where an oxygen helmet now in the mountains. its been the best option for me so far but its big, heavy, and hot. strange that i have the best time not having it fog though
The full face helmet but for the mountain riders.
Ok I know the helmets back in the day werent designed for the mountains its just what we had and now everyone is going with the moto style but I think its time to make them cool again.
I wear glasses and with the heated lens technology of today...
I procrastinated too much and looked for deals too long so Im in an open mortgage right now so not a good thing. But its only for a couple days. I found a 5.66% variable that I am just waiting on to see if my current lender will match before I jump ship. Im not a variable guy but I think...
I know aftermarket skis used to be talked way more about. I was a big endorser of the simmons skis on the original rev chasis. Tried them on my XM and hated them.
That being said I'm just not a huge fan of the skis on my Gen 4 summit. They seem darty as all get out on the trails and I get it...
the places i went on my well my dads exciter back in the day. i think i was braver back then but the "mountains" i climbed then were like small blips today. kind of glad i didnt have the power in the sled i do now back then, might not be around today!
Maybe i am just a tall guy (im only 6'3" tall though) anyway I bought a bca turbo avy bag and taking more time to try it on and wear around the house the "hip" belt pretty much rides on my stomach quite a ways up.
I am guessing guys dont really tighten these belts very much right? Hiking...
Im on an 2022 expert. just seems to sag quite a bit and bottom out not all the time but some times. how hard is it to install the torsion spacers? where do you get them?
