Ya i messed up in my first post about the jets. Mine are 148 and 152 as well. After a few late nights I finally narrowed it down to the choke plunger for the front carb. Took it apart and it was plugged solid with mud! Cleaned it up and I also synced my carbs, now it runs great! Just thought I...
I dont have the dynajet kit, so i dont have the clips, but i have heard and read to put them on the third notch down in this area.
TEX i am at about 2700 feet here.
OK, Lets start by saying that jetting is one of the worst things i have done in my life!!!! There now thats off my chest. I have a problem. Ever since i snorkled my quad i have been chasing the jetting. Right now i have a slight pop at idle- 1/3 throttle, last night i took the airbox off and if...
It has to be something other than the switch, cause i know you can jumper the switch. I did it on the trail on my bike, maybe a broken wire somewhere along the line?
You may have misunderstood me Tex. I can twist it back and forth, not push it back and forth. It has about of inch of play back and forth. Maybe a rod bearing?
I have this nasty ticking sound coming from my engine on my 06 brute 750. Imediatly though it was the valves, so i adjusted them, but they didnt seem that out. I did notice that when i went to turn the engine over by hand witha ratchet on the pull cord bolt that it could move it back and forth...
Rancher is right. There is a maintenance interval for the belt/clutching system every 100 hours or so. Stupid system IMO, but none the less. If everything looks fine you should be good for anothe 100 hours or so.
The almond secondary will definatly help with your downshift/backshift, but probably wont do a ton for power wise. Mine just slows down a little slower than before now.
Your local dealer should be able to get it for you. The standard is a 2" lift. Installed it on my 06 BF 750 and it gave me about 3" of extra clearance under the middle of the bike. Just a precaution if you drive REALLY hard is that they can be hard on axles. I drive mine pretty hard and havent...
Just installed a EPI maroon primary spring, gave mine a ton more low end power, and didnt really slow me down on the top end, for only 23 bucks it was an asy upgrade also didnt have to pull the primary clutch off to do it.
I noticed just recently this noise coming from the engine on my 06 BF 750. It sounded to me like the valves needed adjustment, so i adjusted them and the sound was still there. Then removed the cam chain adjusters and reset them, still there. I noticed if i turned the primary clutch back and...
really interested in your trailer as well. The 27 foot one. Can you email me some pics of the inside and outside to lepage_Greg@hotmail.com. Thanks, Greg
If it doesnt reset with the procedure that Kawi gives you, it could be because the switch inside your belt housing has been switched. Take off you belt housing and on the top of it inside there is a little toggle switch that could be tripped. If your belt is shot, this switch will keep tripping...
