Pictures worth a thousand words. Rode Frisby on Sat. went up early, trail was great. Waist deep snow, and didn't see another sled till 11. No tracks. You just have to go 100ft off the highway to avoid the masses. They are like cattle bunched up on the groomed trail complaining about pounded out...
I'm having problems of my own. Sounds a little bit similar. My VR has gone on me once already wondering if its happening again. That would be my guess for yours.
Were the dash lights flashing or flickering or nothing at all? When my VR went the lights were flashing. I wouldn't force it to fire too much, we did that to a friends sled not long ago and melted out the bottom of the ECU.
ya went through electrical connections and applied dielectric grease to them before trying to fire up last night. Thought that might be it too, there was a tonne of moisture under the hood. Going to get Frog skinz for my hood vents to try to keep more snow out.
Went riding yesterday, it was extremely deep and the throttle was to the bars 99% of the time.
After a couple hrs the sled started to bog, I assumed it was having trouble breathing being so buried all day as well as running really hot ( we were letting our sleds cool down every 10-15 mins )...

Re: Official REVY Riding conditions 2011/12
Lost sight of my sled on a few of the downhill turns today. Some features were super wind loaded with the pow. Pretty slabby out there people, stay safe.:cool:
Wow!!! Safety first, but how do you guys even move with all that gear. I can't even imagine boondocking in the trees with a Honda Civic strapped to my back.
