Starting June 1, it is proposed each camper, 18 years and older, would be required to pay $23.25 plus GST for a 3-day camping pass and $33.25 plus GST for an annual pass.
So I read that would be $66.50 per couple for an annual fee. That seems pretty steep in my mind. That will keep many city...
Thanks for the pics Ryan! Never been there, always ended up going somewhere different instead when we stayed there. But that looks like a bucket list thing in the winter time!
After some half fast attempts to sell the old Chateau last fall, we got serious this spring. Had tons of interest, more tire kickers than I can count. Then a nice couple who have had their fill of tents with 4 kids, yeah, 4 kids, decided enough was enough and wanted a trailer. Spent a half hour...
We've been there for the July long weekend and had to omit several rides due to high water in the creeks and rivers. August is way better for mountain trips.
Found this on another forum, too funny not to share...
When you're over seventy..............who cares ?
I was standing at the bar at the VFW one night minding my own business.
This FAT ugly chick came up behind me, grabbed my behind and said,
"You're kinda cute. You gotta phone number?"
I...
doorfx is the man! He has offered untold amounts of knowledge on my wife's TRV.
Worst case I just replace the boot. There should be next to nothing wrong with the inside, the tear was very fresh. My Gorilla tape and tie wrap temporary repair held up for our whole ride, 100km plus all the donuts...
The Ac part # is 2502-351. I was thinking maybe other machines use the same axle, maybe a more popular machine, better seller would have an aftermarket alternative. But no dice. The Mudpro's front axle is different. Checked the year previous and the year after. The 2015 is 2502-352, close, but...
I noticed a small tear in the CV boot of one of my front axles. I know its from our last trip, running through a cut block. So the plan would be replace the whole axle with a new one (aftermarket), fix the old and keep as a spare.
Problem is, there are no aftermarket axles for my machine, which...
Well, it turned out to be a great ride! The new machine broke in nicely, not an issue at all. We all had a turn on it, typical Polaris ride, very soft. More than enough umph to get it up and around. I don't think the smile on my sisters face will come off anytime soon!
I can get on board with that, as along as we see the revenue going to where it's intended, and not general revenue. Love to see a few more bridges and staging area improvements.
The only place i see where this is applicable are areas where you fill out a permit for the area you are in. The Castle is like that. You fill out a permit to be in area 'A' as an example. Now you will have to include a $30.00 fee? Is that per stay per unit? It almost sounds like an annual permit?
Well, the last carbureted non power steering quad in our riding group has been replaced. My sister has finally upgraded in a big way. The little 400 Sportsman has grown up into a 570 Sportsman Trail! I have to admit, its a great looking machine! My BIL has been spending money on parts waiting...
Found this on Kijiji while looking at other stuff....

Like anything for the handicapped, you need deep pockets. I doubt there are grants or financial aid for something like this, but very cool! There is a vid that shows...
I don't remember what the sizes were. He wanted to change the size, up I think to correct the speedo, and that's where he ran into availablity issues. One way or the other he had to settle for the Black wall. Anyway, that's the new boot in the photo ready to go.
I was pumped to see a 'new thread' in this forum! Then I saw I posted in it in December 2019.
A lot has changed in my garage since then. Upgraded the Virago into a C50T, then bumped up into a C109RT.
I'm jealous of all the guys who have the room to keep the bikes in garages and able to work on...
