yes pretty much the same chassis, im having my 23 s module replaced with the 22 model right now. pulls harder than a g4, narrower plastics, belt clutch cover works great for keeping clutches clean and cool besides the crappy vent design that might rip off if hit right. But ya suspension and...
Well after talking to someone who is familar with this big shark kit with tune, seems like its ok to be running the temp where its at, also I will try and run a snowflap on next ride up and see if that helps for trail riding.
Also if the thermostat was failing or the water pump impellar was...
Well I picked up a 2020 alpha hardcore and rode it for a few days at grizzly lodge. Definitely a whole different sled to learn . This sled only had 70 kms on it with the jaws Shark tune with y pipe, exhaust and pipe. Apparently has a extra 10 hp or so. I would say it pulls better than my 18...
Yah good eye, Well I talked to cycles and sleds in Utah today and they are the second ones to successfully install the 22 s module on a 23 turbo so I would say its a go for my dealer to do the same, Ill talk to my dealer tommorow morning when they open see if I can get the ball rolling.
Ok thought I would share this because I have be digging into why this s module part # is different for 2023 turbo r expert. So when I use the parts finder for my local dealer I get two different part # when switching between the North America and the (TSPK) North America, what is the difference...
So have some good news, I just talked to someone who successfully replaced a s module on a 23 turbo r expert with a 22 g4 expert turbo s module, he said it matched perfect but took 7 hrs to do lol. So Ill get my dealer to order up the 22 s module. Hopefully will have it back in a couple weeks...
Thanks for all the replies guys, I think whatever one I purchase I will probably keep as my backup sled even when I get my 23 turbo doo back, but I think I always wanted to try the alpha so Im leaning towards that one, Basically I want something I can ride deep pow because I generally dont...
So Im looking at purchasing another sled because my doo wont be fixed till end of season, On a budget of 10k, Im looking at a 2019 arctic cat mountain cat 154 3" with 500 kms on it with twin rail for $9500 or a 2020 alpha one 165, estart with 1300kms for 10k, both looked to be in great shape...
Left glacier house resort today, seemed like alot of guys were just hanging out in the cabins and relaxing , didnt hear the usual 2 stroke sounds in this morning, also talked to another group that left a day early because of the temps.
Well I asked the dealer if we could just leave the s module and fix the a arms and shock and ride it, but he said that would be risky because its cracked at the top of the tower and the bottom. Going through insurance and think Im going just going to pick up a cheap sled to use for the season...
If anyone has one let me know ? Also I heard possibly the 2022 expert S module could be the same as the 2023. My dealer says there different part # and shows not available until march. Maybe someone could verify if there the same.
