That's strange I bought mine at Argyll, already have a trip to the mountains on it.
Works awesome
If I still have the package I will get you the part number.
Replaced mine with a 2019 magnetic one.
You just have to enlarge the hole a little bit.
Also do not require the extension that cam with the earlier tether as the new one is long enough.
I have used silicone up top to seal off all the gaps.
But that looks like a good idea as well, if it cant get through there it shouldn't be a problem.
What is the material you used there?
Is that RTV sealant?
Thanks in advance
Some guys on Snow West claim Cat has a fix/update to fix this.
Anyone in Canada hear about this fix?

I did my sled trailer white rims in 2014.
Lots of mountain trips and they still look good!
Pressure washed them every time I got back to town after a trip.

Cat-Cat-Doo-Doo-Doo-Doo- Today its a 2018 Mountain Cat
The Cat had some very good reviews so pulled the trigger.
Haven't put a mile on it yet but I wasn't buying a new Doo and kept the XM just in case.
I wear 1 contact in my strongest eye.
Asked the eye surgeon if there was any issues doing that and he said no problem your eyes will adjust very quickly to the difference.
That way i can see stuff close up and far away.
I use the throw away contacts so as soon as i get back to the truck i pull...
So narrowest setting on the ski stance?
I had my xm all the way in, disconnected sway bar and that's the way I preferred it.
This machine is new to me but I want it to roll over easy like the xm.
4500 on my 2014 XM, rebuilt the clutches last year but the engine is still pulling strong.
Martins bore-scoped it last year and everything looked fine.
Where was everyone running the ski stance width last year?
Moved from an XM to the mountain cat, XM carved good.
Wondering if I should just set it up with the same width as the XM.
