I read an article last week that talked about all the manufacturers providing their max range but the author noted that the manufacturers do not recommend charging these vehicles beyond 90 percent.
The batteries can become dangerous when 90% is exceeded. (True?)

This actually worked out well for a kid I know. Bought a brand new truck 2 years ago, changed jobs and couldn't afford the payments anymore. Sold the truck for what he paid and out from under that debt even with hail damage. He can still track his truck through Ford Pass. It's down in Arizona.

Bought his unit off of him and swapped the cover easily with a T6 torx. The plastic screen that broke is part of the front outside shell and looks like it would be very hard to replace the screen itself. Could be glued in place.
Got some spare parts to keep this going for a while...
