Gas line antifreeze or fuel does not pass through that part of the pump its only open to pulse from the engine which won't have antifreeze but I think on some it has a vent that allows moisture in. Hope you solved your problem.
the wires enter the bar at the middle through a slot at the bottom. The factory warmers wires pass through the very end of the bar that has a notch and run inside and exit out the slot in the middle. If the grips you choose have a knob at the end you will have to run the wires on the outside .
No i don't think it will work because the dess cdi box needs to see that tether id to work. It would work with a non dess cdi and a dess tether but this is becoming complicated without knowing what it has.
