Try my recipe from earlier in the thread. The brine beforehand and the olive oil are key. I do mine at 350 for 45 minutes.

That is what my base is as well. Winter still does a number on the asphalt since it gets pushed off but pretty easy to throw some more down. Knocks the dust from the cement down a ton, that stuff gets really bad with a few years age on it.
