used a rivet gun and washers put on side of tunnel looks good no issues two small holes

use a tester while its running and determine if you have spark. canadian tire have them. just hold against wire and it flashes with the spark. the other thing i would do is while it is running spray some brake cleen around the carbs and engine seals, if it rev's up you have seal problems. hope...

yes if the throttle position doesnt change then she shuts down, not sure how long you have before shut down. i guess before any overheating etc..

I used a shot of wd40 under grip and it slid right off. I then used brake clean to wash off the wd40 (let dry) I reinstalled the grips using dish soap. after a day the soap drys and grips wont move. I also filled the end of my handlebars with expanding foam it help the heated grips work better...
