Good info but a little late lol... just installed new boots & headed to the mtns. 200 miles last wknd & 1 boot is shredded already. It was -28 and the boots were full of frozen chunks. Tried busting them up before riding & I grease the tie rod shaft but still wrecked a boot. Ill try cutting...

Sorry to hear. This was by far the best & most fun/ chanllenging rally ive been to. If you come up with any other reason to hold a rally I know Ill be there riding to support it!!

what do you hit in order to rip a ski off?? Never heard of or seen a ski getting ripped off was looking at put these new ski rubbers in this season.

I ride a 2016 SKS 800 2.6" in Cold Lake Alberta, @2200' & I use stock Polaris 10-70 at home & I ran 10-64 in Valemount. I also switched over to Dragonweld28 kit this year. What a huge improvement over stock clutching!!

Have you found whats causing the blown belts? Motor mounts shot? I changed mine out this season with 1200mi on the sled. Lots of movement in the motor. Ive never blown a belt yet only worn 1 out beyond adjustment. Ben at Altitude Powersports has his own belts & since I switched to his clutch...

Wheres this vintage ride at? Have my ole 79 JD 440 Trailfire thats still running great.

Is there a flash for the 800's like the ones for the 850? Only taken sled back to dealer once when it was new for a recoil that crapped out.
