so is av gas safe to use in all sleds then or just aftermarket turbo sleds? I just have a oem turbo summit but I have a connection to an av gas supplier through work. he has also said to come get some of the "good stuff" but I never bothered before.
Im thinking of doing the course coming up. Is it a good one or should someone try and do one out in the field kind of setting instead? I dont climb mountains much anymore but you cant be too safe and its been awhile.
insulating the new trailer. i have access to a bunch of 2 inch rigid insulation but need 1 inch. Anyone ever cut the stuff down in thickness? all i can think of is call around to wood working shops and see if they have a band saw big enough for it.
sorry not a direct heater questions but is it a night and day difference insulating the bottom of your trailer when it comes to heating it or is insulating the walls and ceiling good enough?
anyone ever add a built in fuel cube inside their enclosed trailer? are there any regulations against doing that? at the moment we bring jerry cans but it would be nice to have something better
I got a summit turbo x and old gauge. The only guys that got the new gauge were the turbo experts and I dont think every single one got it. I dont care about the gauge but the bag idea was nice. Dave answered me on instagram though and skidoo has a work around for the bag and the old gauge...
yup im pretty much in that same way of thinking. I guess the saying you should be happy you got a sled and didnt get a deal off on no dess and old gauge to consider yourself "lucky"
Has anyone that had a 2022 sled got the DESS completed on their sled? No one I know has and I have yet to hear anything from the dealer or skidoo on the matter. Think they might just do away with DESS completely?
Do you think Skidoo is actually going to release a bag for the guys that got stuck with the old gauge in the 2022 sleds at all? Doesnt seem like they will be doing so. I couldnt even find one of the new gauge style last year to buy.
are those all in one units a better way to go then all separate? I was going to mount it higher in the trailer to not use up floor space though but I can see how mounting it low would be better for hot
My buddy bought a trailer the other day for our sledding trips. I didnt have the funds to help out right away but I want to do all the setup at least inside and what not.
Its lined with plywood already. We have some insulation sheets to put behind the walls but I am wondering what to do with...
Ok thats not even a real word but Im going with it.
Yes I know to fog the machine since i run skidoo. Question is do you fill with fuel and fuel stabilizer or do you take as much of the fuel out as possible? Also I used to jack the back end up to keep the weight off the tracks and those 3...
