Im just over 200 lbs without my sled gear on and without a tunnel bag or extra fuel.
Is it a good idea to put heavier duty springs on the rear suspension? Or maybe a torsion spring spacer?
Refrigerator is dying. Got it to start running again but its life isnt going to last long.
I dont want fancy stuff. just need a normal fridge but a well built one. Anyone know brands to look at and brands to stay away from?
MP Kid I think the only downside to the one you are looking at is that you cant put the pull trigger on the left shoulder strap. I dont think i will be able to outrun a slide but I just know i would feel more comfortable grabbing with my left hand as I usually always keep my hand on my throttle...
I meant to buy an avy backpack sooner than this but who knows maybe i can save a few bucks. I made a post about this before but got lazy.
anyway i have narrowed them down to a few choices
Black diamond Jetforce bag - 10L one as I plan to carry as little as possible on my back.
pros

Question is if anyone leaves their sleds near their riding areas rather than trailer them back and forth each time back home? You would have to find a secure spot to leave them and it would mean you would pretty much have to ride the same area the entire season but as long as there were other...
I am not a fan of really rigid boots for riding. I know they are likely a good idea to have but I just dont like them.
having said that I tried some that were exactly not rigid last year (not a dedicated snowmobile boot) and I had to get them in their biggest size (they dont make anything over...
I have been running klim pants and jacket for the past 12 years so I have the gear that was good before polaris bought klim. I have been thinking about going back to the onesee for a bit though. I was never a fan of bibs though so I dont know if it would be fore me. peak has wicket deals going...
I like how it is the most centralized mass sled out there. The looks dont bother me too much. I love how it comes apart but I just dont know how that will work in a real world situation. Cat has not had the best fitment out there. Hopefully its great and it makes the others up their game...
Is it worth heading to golden this weekend?
yeah I know any day riding rather than working is good but with how much stuff costs you gotta be kinda picky now a days
Anyone running the BCA backpacks?
Does anyone know the difference between the regular and the "turbo" version?
I assume the turbo version will give my sled at least 10 more horsepower! ha
reviving this post.
Trailer is about done just dont know what to do for the bottom of the trailer. heater exhaust will be going out the bottom. dont have the money to do the spray in insulation on the bottom
i have a bunch of the rigid insulation thinking about using but thinking it would...
does anyone install the all in one heaters on the floor of their trailer with the intake and exhaust going out the bottom of your trailer?
the trailer is all done except for the heater now and just looking at best way to install it. Was going to install it in the V nose of the trailer on the...
Getting the sled ready.
Is there anything in addition to the normal things a guy should look at as far as the Turbo doos?
I remember someone saying about checking bolts on the turbo side of the sled?
i was dead set on the vest design. I tried on one. it seems good but me being not big on having weight on my back and i get really hot easily I am having second thoughts.
I know it goes against the grain but I dont plan on keeping my shovel in my backpack. likely just my radio and probes...
I still ride with the same pair of klim pants I bought 20 years ago. I was young then so I rode much harder. Still have the valdez Jacket as well although I switched due to my body size now a days I still have it and its fine. My dad still runs the same stuff I bought him 19 years ago. Never...
I think the snow pulse one is a bit less hot or so thats what I heard. It looks really big though. I was leaning towards klim but your point about the transceiver and pockets are valid.
Will admit I have never owned one. Gonna get one this year (provided I can find one as they seem hard to find now)
Would prefer to go with the vest style to help keep weight off my shoulders. Im looking for comfort.
Big question is are guys going with the old reliable air canister style or...
