Well I will post this just in case someone searches it. The kit comes with one large shim that goes in the compensator to pretty well eliminate that and then you add a large shim inside the clutch pack so it can't slip as easy. Pretty straight forward job. And the instructions from quad shop...

I pulled my 14500lb carbon behind my one ton and it wiped my old f350 around good, i could not imagine that trailer behind anything less. I upgraded to a newer f350 with 20 inch wheels and it made a huge diff. I dont think you will ever get that thing to tow good behind a half ton truck. sorry...

so i have to do the sld mod since i put the 30's on and looking at the parts finch i was wondering which part gets modded the compensator shaft or the one on the output shaft. mine is really bad can hardly move coming out of mud holes.

weird, with a vin i might be able to find more info. even our trans guy has no idea what the diff would be, never been asked that before.
