Tow Rigs! Thinking of buying new

I'm running the 5.8L. I went to Kelowna for Christmas and it averaged 11.8 over the 7.5 hour drive (Just about a full tank of gas). If I wasn't doing 120 on the Alberta side I'm sure it would have done better. But then again its averaged over all so who knows. Slowing down in BC and free riding...

Tow Rigs! Thinking of buying new

I buy new trucks every 3-4 years and use them as write offs for my business, I have zero overhead so the trucks help me out tax wise. I have a pretty heavy service trailer I pull on occasion and the sled trailer flat deck. In 2010 I decised to go with a 3/4 ton (All my trucks have been GMC and...

My daughter was working at Adrenaline and she got ridiculously good deals (Too good of an opportunity and could not pass it up) so we outfitted ourselves with all new FXR Gear. We were and still will be using MotorFist. Its top notch also. The FXR boots with the BOA system ROCKS! No more laces...

Here is a nice shot. Picture is taken from the winter gate looking towards the cabin. So if you follow the dusty road you end up back at Etherington...

LOL. Last weekend (2 weeks ago) we staged at Etherington and made our way over to Cataract for lunch. No one had a fire going yet but its always nice to have a place to sit down. That's when I found the two brand new bathrooms (could darn near park a sled in them) LOL and the shinny new ramps.

Do you wear an Avalanche Air Bag in the Mountains

Nice!! When I first saw that set up I thought that would be a very nice way to go. Then I found out Welcome to the WARY Site was closing up shop and smoking deals were to be had. Set me and my daughter up with bags, an extra cylinder and 30 years worth of rebuild kits for the price of one bag...

We were first on the trails this morning. We all took turns riding the groomed single track on the way out. At the end of the day we had a broken A arm at the most south point of the trail system. Hate to say it but we used the logging road a little ways to limp it out. Sliders were burning...

The area rocks for beginners! Unload and trail heads are right at the parking lots. Stay away from Skyline area as trails can get drifted in which requires side hilling skills. If you stay on the valley bottom you can go a long ways with out worrying about hills. Sent from my SM-N920W8...

Got out yesterday for the first time this year. Started off in Etherington and ventured over to Cataract covering a lot of the trail system. Went over Skyline and checked out some of the logging that is being done in the area. So many new roads to follow, new cut blocks. A few times we had a...

Got my Dad out on a sled this weekend!!!! (Video)

He has quite a few years on you. One thing he said to me a long time ago was if he had a chance to do it all over again he would spend more time with us kids. He was a long haul trucker and back then made a good living doing it. We didn't see him very much but we had the first VCR, first...

Checking plugs, just installed altitude compensation kit.

I have no clue what the jets are now but have been riding it with no issues other than at high altitude, bogging etc. I've never checked plugs or had to keep an eye on them before. I know what to watch for just not sure how often you check. Sent from my SM-N920W8 using Tapatalk

Checking plugs, just installed altitude compensation kit.

Hey all need some advice. I just installed an altitude compensation kit on my daughters sled. She wants to take the sled and go riding with a friend but I don't want her to take it yet as we haven't been out with it yet to keep an eye on the plugs. My question is how often should the plugs be...
