We still go buy we park at Azozzetta lodge it is about 3 miles up the hiway to Chetwynd. I think he has rooms and you are locked in over night. He sleds and is a nice guy when you get to know him, He has coffee and hotdogs for lunch. My next trip in I will get some info from him and pass it on.

:nono:I talked to a buddy that has a cabin in Powderking he told me that a sledder went across the sky hill at a fast rate of speed, Was stopped by the owner was told to please keep away from the skiers so nobody would get hurt. Well.... at the end of the yelling the sledder spit in the face of...
:)I was thinking of the Timbersled air intake system was it hard to install? I have a 151x16x2.25 track on now. I also am looking for a 162 track for my sled. The 174 track is a lot of cash the cheapest I found was 1550.00. I do love the power of the 1000, Nothing like stomping your 800 buddies.:d:d
:)Was in Powder King last weekend Had some hard pack but found snow in the trees. All ways a good time Keep away from the ski hill. The owner not a big sledding fan. He has made a groomed trail around the ski hill. Too bad he has a nice place to have lunch or supper and has great parking. Still...
Thank's for your imput I just got this RT1000 this year and just don't know. My buddy tried it on a hill and said that it builds way more speed than his 04 rev 800 159. This I like to hear. It does run cold on my temp gauge, But I let it run to warm up before I pull any high rpm's.
We go from Fort St. John all the time to PK we never have a bad time. My brother drives from Onoway Ab. 7hr one way to do a ride then he drives home. The riding is the best I have sledded all over western Canada and nothing can come close for powder:d

From Fort St. John B.C. you go to Prince George B.C. from Chetwynd B.C. you go about 1hr. You will come onto Powderking. Last Sat. we were into 1ft. fresh and good base lots of fun. Will not be there on Feb 26 I will be in Wells B.C.
:)When are you coming to this part of the world, Let me know we go almost all the time. If you like having fun and boondocking we do day trips from Fort St John it takes about 3hr one way. What kind of sled do you have??
we ride mostly powder in the pinepass I don't have a rich condition I get good fuel mileage. I just run cold on the temp gauge, On a hill I will get temp if I run the sled hard. I just need more heat..
:):)We sleded in Powderking, Sat 31 Jan 09 looked bad but was some of the best yet, Good base about a foot of powder. I pounded my RT1000 it took it well.
what about the rear cooler will the removal of this help the temp problem??? the sled went 4600km with out any problems before should I worry about the temp???
