Well if we were on the right path someone really needs to go up there in the summer with a mulcher or chainsaw. Because where we turned around it was so thick you couldn't see through it. You could see where there is a single lane path through the middle but all the willows are crossed like x's...
I can't remember the name of it but we headed up an old fsr about 5 miles before the rocky point turnoff. It's right before you cross a bridge. There were a couple other tracks going up so we followed. After a couple km the road got filled with willows and we were pretty much pushing bush. About...
Wondering if anybody can offer some insight to where the trail is for kain creek. Since the Rocky point trail was a no go we spent the rest of the day looking for the kain creek trail but had no luck.

Just a heads up for anybody that's thinking of heading to rocky point. The fsr has great snow until the trail head. But the first part of the trail is lots of ice. The switchbacks are all iced up and chewed down to the dirt in a lot of places. I made it up to the first switchback and turned...
you can get the dealer to order it through polaris. That seams to be the easiest route. thats how i get it. some guys seam to be able to find it at different store but takes some searching to find.
they didn't want to deal with crossing the avy chutes. ya its a risk but its no different then the risk you take each time you go into the back country. there are lots of times that you cross avy chutes but dont realize it because you are on a trail. ya the chutes can be a little difficult to...
its a pretty sweet place to ride. i have always had good snow and we are usually breaking trail to get in. was supposed to ride there on sunday but a couple group members scratched that idea. its a long way in depending on where you can drive the truck to park. right now the snow line is pretty...
Was there on Friday. Snow wasn't very good. Trail is in great condition in my opinion. A little hard to keep the sleds cool. Road in from radium is good. 2wd the hole way pulling a 28ft enclosed. I would agree with the above. Probably spindle deep in most places that you can find fresh.

we don't unplug ours. on the fords there is no 12v accessory power going to the trailer when the key is turned off. so no issue with running truck battery down. not sure about the other brands.
we start our furnace the morning of our first day of riding and don't shut it off until the morning that we leave for town. it runs all day and all night. No problem with batteries going dead. we have 2 deep cycle batteries and a small solar panel on the roof. at night we plug the trailer in at...
I just want to throw this out there. I hope the guy didn't think it was our group that skipped the booth. we had a group of 9 guys. we went and bought our passes right after we parked. before we even got dressed or unloaded sleds. we didn't stop at the booth before we hit the trail.
