Im on your side! Again this post was about what happened in saskatchewan not any other province. People forget Saskatchewan only has just over a million people and Alberta has around 3.6 million. We have a ton of wide open land and on a good 100km ride in day could possibly cross 50 farmers...
P.S that picture of me carving was in a canola field which i did not ask to sled on! Glad i didn't get shot and i sure hope i didn't wreck the farmers crop that year!
Ive been sledding many years in northern saskatchewan and the one nice thing about riding here is there are no rules about crossing someones land. Not once do we ever get yelled at or guns pointed at us. Now the south and north parts of saskatchewan must be different. There are zoo many small...
Exactly i actually was reading this forum on my way up to work yesterday from saskatchewan to alberta so i started paying attention to the fields and i don't believe i seen a single field with a no trespassing sign. Even if it is fenced you can still sled across it as long as there is no signs...
I can't believe the amount of people on here taking sides with the farmer. No part of what he did was proper or correct. We don't know the rest of the story as this may have been this particular sledders first time across the field. Riding back home not once does a sledder ask for permission to...
I don't think i would work at all with the plastic factory skid plates. Honestly don't get this bumper if you're doing any mountain riding since its horrible at collecting snow Like a big plow i will not be buying a new one.
2400km on my 2013 xm x 163" And i have 2 out of your 4 problems with mine. I had to get my warmers replaced cause they burnt out. As well as the coolant leaks. As long as you keep your coolant topped off these problems are a pain but minor very minor. Only other problem i had was stripped inner...
Had a buddy who just broke hit tibia and tibia yesterday in mcbride cause his foot got stuck in the polaris foot well on a new poo. Another friend got off a little better last season after getting his boot caught the same way and pulled some muscles that took a while to heal.
Depends on your riding style. If you are use to a Doo like i am you will really notice the running boards on a poo. Hands down they are the grippiest but i hate the fact that you can't put your boot into the stirrup. Racing down the hills and into corners my foot always seemed like it would push...
I know for a fact the pro piles up more snow on the tunnel then the xm or arctic cats and i think as well as all my riding buddies that it was to do with the aluminum tunnels compared to the powder coated ones of the competitor. Now 124 pounds worth? i don't know about that lol
I have a '13 xm 163" and upgraded the shocks to raptor shocks and beefed up the rails with the stiffeners. I pound the crap outa it on the trails up and down the mountain. With 6+ years son x experience i look forward to the race down to the trailers. Now with the new shocks its almost the same...
It could happen but first i don't understand. A stock pro 800 with 174" x 2.5" with rails is cheaper then the new t3 174"? My google skills tell me a new poo pro 800 is $13600 msrp of course and a track that big is at least $1200 plus rails at least $400 thats $15200 pretty well the same price...
Ya what happened? And if i had a dollar for every time i towed a polaris id have a toonie and an arctic cat well id have a loonie! Things break down they are all machines!
Im buying a 163" T3..Why? Why not! Skidoo has never led me wrong yet. Sure i have tried all the other models and brands and i dint really have any complaints about them either. I know BRP has done the research and testing and they wouldn't toss a sled onto the market (minus the 1000rt) and risk...
Exactly what Maxwell said. But i would have to say that after having the hood off a few times on my xm there is at least 10 pounds they can save there. I would like to see a headlight as an option since i never ride at night and a small rigid LED on the handlebar or incorporated into the hood...
