i would say the best deal i had all day, at least the most shocking anyways, was when i got home from spending 900 bucks at the show.
my wife was gone, so i started raking some leaves, (i figured i was in trouble so i had better start making up for it)
and what does my wife come home with...
the oil light on my rev will come on with better than half the resevoir full. scared the crap out of me the first time it did it as i was well past skinny ridge when we were riding owl head and to get oil was a bumpy ride to the bottom. ususally it goes away if i sit at an idle, but once the...
just ordered a black 5 pc set from modrods. kinda forgot about the, being at the show. oh, well, good price anyways.
for you guys who bought this or a similar kit, did you use the vent for the front hood above the pipe? or just the side panel ones? i'm not real sure its necesary with the...
so just to clarify, you need chains for all your tires? i thought maybe it was just the rears, i suppose you need to steer, i've been browsing the interweb but can't find a definite answer. what do they do if they stop you and you have all seasons? turn you back, or ticket you?
maybe i'm missing something, but why don't you just get the stock system? its about 600 installed and you get 2 more keys, and no extra fob to carry around. jmo:beer:
i did the same thing with some of my tracks. difference being mine were on the wall. my trailer has the 3/8 plywood on the wall and supports every 24 inches. seems pretty tough. went with 4' vertical tracks in the front and the back. like i said, mine is mostly for work, hauling kitchens...
i just bought a enclosed trailer for work, with the possibilty of hauling a few sleds around occasionally. it already has the d rings in the floor, so the sleds should be fine. but i was looking for a good sytem to attach to the walls of the trailer for hauling other material ect.
any body...
i the company i worked for until recently has these on all their vehicles. great tires for highway service winter/summer, ok for a small mud hole.
only problem we had was 4 of the trucks had the sidewall issues, ended up blowing the tire. on the one truck it actually delaminated and tore...
seems like you can go to just about any dealership and get a good deal. i went to grove to buy my 2010 2500, but only because it was the best deal i could find at that point on a used truck. i couldn't justify the price of a new truck, but mine had 8500km, crew cab short box. its an slt, so...
my buddy has virtually the same truck as you described and he bought it with 596000 km. it was pilot truck that spent it whole life between ft mac and calgary. he works at the dealership that it was bought and serviced at. other than the injectors its all original.
its crazy to look at...
i'm so angry at my tra 3 right now. i just finished going thru the whole thing, rollers, bushings, o-rings, and a good solid clean.
then the other day were riding and the three bolts that hold the governor cup in place break. 2 sheared and one stripped the threads. an easy out and some longer...
i've tossed this idea around as well, those turbo nytros look like a crazy good time, but i know from current experiences of mixing fuels and having a modded sled that i'll stick to pretty much stock in the future. some guys seem to have all the luck in the world with their modded sleds, but...
i'm with you, you would think they would wait. like you said, give it a week or 2 and you won't be able to ride the sleds any more anyways.
which trails were you riding?
we do this quite regularly on my 12' trailer with a single axle. 2 151'' revs on the out sides and a 670 136'' in the middle.
we also have done 3 sleds on the same trailer with the outside sleds forward and the middle backwards. just means the center sled hangs off the back a bit, in our case...
