Ya I guess that would be one way too. But I'm more worries about when I'm going across the boarder. And them checking my registration and not being able to find the VIN on my sled to match my registration and thinking its stolen. Try to explain to a boarder guard that sleds only have the VIN on...
A friends sled did something like that it was a high amp draw code I think. Something about the headlight switch getting bumped and the high and low beams being on.
Finding VIN number on a xp
Wondering if anyone knows of another place other then the tunnel that the VIN number should be stamped? The tunnel was replaced with a full custom tunnel when it was stretched to a 174".

Aerocharger can rebuild it for you not sure if they will just sell you the parts. Same thing happened to a friends summit. Ya by the looks of it you had pre detonation on the one cylinder, strange it is only one side though.
I would probably pull your turbo and check the vanes. Some of that piston could have went threw it also. Your likely better off to pop open the bottom end and go threw it also could save you a headache later on.
