    Winter specific truck tires

I run a set of ST Maxx in the summer and Duratracs in the winter right now. The ST Maxx is decent in the winter but I definitely not near as good as the duratracs on ice/hard packed snow. I know some people have wear issues with them, but I cant complain about mine. I have ~50k on them and they...

    Belt Drives

I ran a 26T top most of last year, still found it was to low. switched to a 28T and liked it a lot better. I definitely wouldn't go any lower than a 27T.(this is on a 16). Keep in mind with the 7 tooth drivers, the ratio's are about 8-9 ish percent lower than with 8 tooth drivers the 2.6 sleds...

2008 Dodge 6.7 Cummins Engine Brake Whine

Likely this^^. Either cracked manifold or gasket leaking, Many that were left with emissions systems intact were prone to cracking or gaskets blowing on the earlier models. They see some very high temps during a regen.

    Gearing 2016 vs older m's

Bottom gear might, top gears from 12-14 were different. They were held on by a bolt, new ones are just one of those retaining clips. 2015 top gear should fit. However, 2016 gears/chain are suppose to be Borg Warner so they should be stronger FWIW. Also, Im currently running the equivalent of...

    Info on avy bags

I have to agree with the make sure your pack fits great, not just good. I started out with a bca float 22 but only used it the one year because the straps would always loosen up and even when tight I could still feel it flop around on my back. Then I tried on a snowpulse vest, fit like a...

    Sled Deck R&R

^^^ this is true with some companys, best to check if you want it covered. Mine loosen up a little at first, I always snug them up after driving a few miles loaded. Even if you bolt them down, on some designs there is benefits to adding turnbuckles too. It helps by securing to a higher point...

    Sled Deck R&R

I use turnbuckles with a jam nut. Always came loose on me without the nut. I also have eye bolts mounted in each corner with 5"x5" steel plates underneath the box for some extra strength. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    After market skiis

Had powder pros on my 13, definitely a huge improvement over the stockers. They do steer heavy on the trail and are a bit aggressive in the set up snow. Grippers are better all around ski I find. One other option if you might be able to find a deal on is stock 2016 M skis. I love mine and...

    Cooker

They definitely work good. The clamp on ones warm pre cooked stuff, pizza, pops, etc well and the thing cooker can you can cook pretty much anything you can fit in. Both work awesome and I wouldn't want to go without anymore.

    Sled deck mounting

This is what I have for mine with single legs. 5th year this year and no cracks anywhere. Eyebolts in the box with 1/4" plate mounted on the underside of the box. Then just turnbuckles with jam nuts put on them.

    Sled Deck Tail Lights?

Yeah, most, if not all decks do. Those lights are indicators for your width. Im not talking about just having clearance lights on the deck. Im talking actual tail lights (stop/turn/tail). And just looking for experience that anyone might have with the DOT/RCMP, if it is acceptable or not to...

    Sled Deck Tail Lights?

yeah I am planning on doing the removable light. I was just wondering if anyone had experience with actual tail lights. Found a post after some more searching from several years ago, one of the members on here did have a tail light set up, and had it ok'd by the rcmp. This was the setup he had.

    Sled Deck Tail Lights?

Just wondering if anyone has added tail lights to their decks? I have been searching through old threads but have not came up with anything in writing. Up until this year I was always under the 1.2m overhang from my truck tail lights so I haven't needed anything additional. Just wondering if...

    16 proclimb ride?

I didn't find it to be bad at all with the skid where it is now. Enough to keep it fun but not In the sky all day. It was definitely better than my 13 and it had the 2.6 on it.

    16 proclimb ride?

I highly recommend the upgrade. Got about 150 miles on my '16 last weekend. Coming off my '13 I was like a fish out of water for the first half hour. takes almost no effort to maneuver. I have aftermarket boards and with a slight change in pressure on your foot, the sled goes. One thing I...

    Rear Superclamp w/3inch track

This might be a stupid question, but does anyone out there use the rear superclamp with a 3 inch track? Just wondering if there is enough adjustment in the mechanism to be that high off the deck? I'm assuming there should be enough, since the top of the rail wouldn't really be any higher than...
