a buddy of mine swamp his mud pro through the muffler, his plug boot came loose and the second he hit the water she shut down. It wasn't bad to get going again about 1hr time and couple of beer
i have a big gun on my brute force and i run power commander went onto the web site they didn't have my specific set up but ran with the closest thing I'm sure I'm missing a little power but its all they had. all in all simple to use and a big power difference
A great place to go ride is Alder Flats just south of Drayton Valley,Just go straight through town and pick a place to unload you can ride forever back there and never ride the same trial twice(just bring a GPS).
I've heard PAM works great but you have to condition your plastic to it, In that I mean use it alot and the plastic seems to almost soak it in. I know in GNCC racing racers put foam in their open spots around frame and around the motor to collect the mud then after the race they just pull it out...
It's lam that you can say something like that went you got posted in your sig a KX 250 where do you think all the blow off go on those bikes? That's right on the ground look at all the vent lines!!!
Zilla's are very light tire(the lightest there is for mud tire) but it doesn't matter what quad your have whether it's a 450 or a 1000 clutching is the key!! A 550 griz will turn backs no problem with the right clutch springs in it
I agree dig it's all about throttle control, if your to the handle bars and come through a mud hole and hit dry ground your going to twist something off now! I've said it before let the tires do the work..
It's not a bad thing IMO, now if your quad, sled, bike whatever gets stolen you will at least get something back weather its cash a new machine or yours back.
I have a Raptor and find the same thing I believe the only difference is that it is more floatation then tire spin 2wd are light compared to a 4wd. If you get a
4wd with tires like silverbacks and the right clutching and you let the tires do the work they will eat there way through anything.
