I bought both of my sleds for $700 each. Even if stuff did crap out on it, meh I can take that kind of hit. However if I were paying a couple of grand, I'd sure want to make sure there wasn't a damn thing wrong with it.
It was too bad I couldn't stay for too long, didn't get a chance to meet you Koby. Only on the road to Fort St. John until Tuesday when another replacement takes over and I'll be back in the office.
Whens' the next one?
Make sure your fuel cutoff switch is in the open position so you're getting fuel. I spent a good 5 hours on a saturday tinkering away thinking it was the carbs that were plugged. ( Although I only probably worked 2 hours on it, I like to bull chit with people)
I have a tilt deck that's 9 feet long, mind you I have a 136" and a 144" sleds. But my problem is that if I don't have my skis hanging a few inches off the front of the trailer, the trailer is ass end heavy and likes to wobble on the highway. But sliding it forward just a few inches makes all...
I got sent up to Fort St John this morning because I work with idiots. I won't be in town till after 9. I'll shoot W2R a text to see if you guys are still there.
I wonder if it's better to mount it on a 488cc or a 700 RMK. I figure the 500 is usually always WOT because it's slow, but I'd assume the 700 gets hotter faster. What do you think?
See I've heard the opposite, that the BBB is a good place to start if all else fails.
Yes, however if you quote out a commercial paint job, and the entire time you diss the rest of the competition because their drunks, sloppy ect. That's slander. Price doesn't factor into the equation.
I do...
Scotty at Compression Technology in Fort St John has Barrels and 5 gallon pails of VP's stuff in stock. But good to see more people carrying some of the finer blends of fuel
If done untastefully it could be viewed as slander. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar, if it can't be resolved you can always try contacting BBB
Was a really cool video, the camera view of your goggles really makes my stomach uneasy because you see the forward motion through the lens and then the backwards motion otherwise. I would suggest zooming the video to show the reflection of your goggles only that would look cool with the tint...
if you really don't want to get too crazy, you could maybe try sucking all the oil out through the dipstick, then just slowly adding oil back down that way. Filter change is your discretion.
I'm looking to go out this weekend, not sure if I want to go all the way out to Kakwa just yet. Any one know if there's so snow up the bald tower mountain road?
Does anyone know of any manufacturers for kits for a '98 polaris trail rmk, or a '99 700 rmk? It said it was an option for those years, but I'm having a hard time tracking these things down.
