It helps to make sure you are in 4x4 as well,,,,,, even tied off a 2 wheel drive mode will kick them out,,,,,,,,, it only takes a second to make your life a wreck!!!!
not sure on that???? just call parks at the gov building in GP,,,,,,,,, they can help you on that....... There is a camp site at Deadhorse meadows,,,,,,,, I know you can't camp at the parking lot at the river above the falls.
Just keep going to Lick Creek Staging area past Two Lakes,,,,, unload there,, lots of random camping in area,,,,,,,, from there you can quad to the falls day use and or Horn ridge with 12 km on the mnt to ride.
It is a National Historic Park. Not a whole lot to see,, old buildings,,,,,,,, The trails around the site are far more interesting. May be a bit challenging if there is ice on them???
to try something easy and safe,,,,,,,,, go west on #11 and dump the ATV anywhere along the highway,,, just stay on the right hand side where the snow would be all melted and take it easy,,,,,,,, I wouldnt get on any trail taking off of the ditch as you will hit snow and cross trails,,,, wont...
once the snow drops some more I will be doing our annual snow busting ride,, get the tour trails opened up and see some snow and mud fly.......... Will post when we do this for any extra intrested people.

Has been busy,, between work, rentals and guiding I have had 1 day off since boxing day. That was friday,, and had a outfittied tour sat, turned down another 2 and had some rentals out for sled rallies Sun-mon. I think it would be good out at ranger provided the crossing on the hummingbird is...
You can ride from Grandeview, past our shop and into the westcountry,,,,, we had 4" of snow dump on us last night/today. Was in the gap today and it let off around noon..... looked like it was still snowing west of the Gap.
Was Guiding at Ranger,,,,,, trail wasn't too bad,,, rough,,,,, my guests where bowl shy as they where from Sask. but they had a blast in the powder in the trees. somewhere around 3 - 4 ft. My sled wasn't running right so I just watched and guided them from bowl to bowl and chute to chute.
I have and rent out a 97 500 summit, great little sled,,,,,,,,,,, awsome for jumping and carving in meadows,,,,,,,,,, have taken it into the backcountry as well,,,,,,,,, has never let me down, but I have been rough on it a few times,, so has a few newer parts. I would not hessitate in getting...
