After some digging I found that the pilot screw is covered by a "Welch plug". Does it have to be replaced once I get it off and make the adjustments? I'm guessing not as they're not in the parts diagram, and can't seem to find replacement parts. Fill the hole with caulking when I'm done?
Hey everyone, I've got a 2009 Yamaha Bravo that I bought with only 830km, and I've got a couple of issues I'm hoping someone can help me with.
1) The throttle plate has a factory hole in it, but I don't know if it's supposed to be on top or on the bottom. I took it out to put the carb through...
I bought a used 1996 Polaris Tran Sport a little while back. The sled ran poorly, needing the throttle to keep it going. Once it had been running for a bit (don't know if I'd call it warm or not), it wouldn't restart. Plugs were wet...seems to me that it's flooding. It has never had any engine...
To be fair, I posted all the pictures as proof. A little bit of research would show that my numbers are not wrong, nor are they abnormal. I have friends with different brands of diesel trucks who are running similar numbers...diesel is inherently more efficient than gasoline, there's no doubt...
I have a stock 2015 Ram 3500 with the Cummins, but can't compare as I don't have any seat time behind a fourth gen gasser HD Ram. What I can tell you are my numbers, and I'm very particular when it comes to resetting the trip meter and monitoring fuel economy.

Might be a little late, but I'm getting to Revelstoke a day early and looking for a riding partner or a group to tag along with tomorrow (Friday March 10th). Average rider, with all of the avy gear and my AST1. Text or call me @ 780-935-5361. Thanks!

Thank you for your reply! Did a compression test...111-112 PSI on PTO side, 115 Mag. Not sure if it's normal for them to be off like that? Repeated the test twice, same results. PTO side was the side to go down.
Thank you for your reply! I'm using the NGK BPR9ES plugs. I'll definitely do this...
It doesn't idle erratically, but it doesn't have the normal rumble. It sounds like my 600 trail used to. It's also very slow and not as crisp as I'm used to. You can hear/feel when it drops and picks up a cylinder.
Easiest way to check when it's warm is to put your hand on the head where the...
I had to use my 2013 Pro 800 on an ice fishing trip recently and ran into an issue. It was -35 when we started the 29km trek to our spot. At 16km we stopped to warm up...and the sled cooled down quite quickly. -35 without the windchill isn't an ideal time to go ice fishing (can't say it's the...
Looks awesome! How much tuning or fiddling with the settings have you had to do once you had it in the mountains?

Thanks for the heads up...I was a day late seeing this since I just bought the Aluminum 18" wheels from a 2016 with 2 bald and 2 good tires for $900. Thanks anyway, enjoy the truck!
Great points. One thing I considered when buying the wheels was the cost of the tires. Tires for 17" and 18"...

I'm looking to use my current 18" SLT chrome steel wheels as winter wheels, and upgrade to the "premium" stock wheels. Current tires are 275/70R18, found wheels off a 2014 with new tires (265/60R20). Tires may also be a 285/60R20 (which is even closer to stock than...
Lol I noticed that too. I found that when I first started riding my Pro, I was doing that because it's what I learned from the videos. And I'd like to think that I got pretty good at it. But then this season I decided against watching any videos pre-season in order to avoid getting antsy, and...
Well I've definitely experienced this coolant surge/heat soak, but always attributed it to some electronic issue rather than poor coolant circulation. I've never seen a drastic spike, but I've seen it go up while off, or sustain a hot temp for far too long, then drop off once the machine is...
