I mounted mine on my MBRP can (2011 M8) and it gets food warm. I would put the perogies in in the morning, and it would just get hot enough to make them warm. I had shrimp in there too, but I pre-cooked them the night before. If you want to actually cook food, I would mount it on the pipe closer...
