No doubt! But being 40 and breaking my back twice on a cr250, I should know better, but there's still that freakish need for speed, so maybe this is a bad idea lol.
Thanks everyone so far. I would give thanks and some rep, but Tapatalk doesn't allow on this forum. Ive since figured out it's probably an '86 going off the engine serial number, but the white frame is throwing me off as every pic I've been able to find of the '86 model has been red frame and...
That's what I've heard. Hard to jet and prone to seizure. Just going to be a restore project and probably only ridden once a year when I feel the need to scare the sh!t out of myself.
Just picked up an old school yz490 and I'm trying to figure out the year on it. Just wondering if there's any guru's on here that know something about them. I got it narrowed down to an 89 or 90 I think. White frame with white plastics and red seat, disc brake on front, right side exhaust, and 5...
Never had a 5.4 but a buddy did and best he could average with it was about 15.5. My Ecoboost now has 30,000k and it's seems to be improving on mileage right now averaging close to 13 hwy. Best on a longer trip was 12. But that may be due to warmer weather again. Horrible throughout the winter...
Just a thought, not sure how much you really want to spend, but probably find a complete honda CBR 125 for $1500 or less. Nice little liquid cooled, fuel injected compact 4 stroke motor. Not super peppy but quiet compared to any 2 stroker.
I have a 13. No issues with it so far, but I only have 28,000 on it. Driving hard (120-140) it sucks back the fuel averaging around 16L/100k best I got was 12L/100k at 100kph. Most times it's around 14 though.
ThAt trail damaged? Didn't think it could get much worse. Now would be the time while the frost is in the ground. Once the frost is gone it's pretty much impassable.
Ripped around on the 2 trikes for a bit and then washed and put them away. Was gonna wash the 4 wheelers but they just got put away dirty. Won't be needing them any time soon, so may as well be stored out of the weather.
