Owner of TPC is an A-hole to deal with apparently. The quad conversions are sweet though. Can always do a dirt bike conversion with BVC or DT motorsports.

    Garage work bench material.

The one table with the rotary part would be pretty slick.

I use the oil soaker pads.

    Garage work bench material.

I feel the work bench area is to small for most projects and it’ll just turn into more storage and junk collecting. But then again my work bench is a 4x8 sheet of plywood, so anything will seem small. I don’t mind a wood top either because stuff doesn’t slide around on it so easily. But that’s...

    Any local Bike ice racers

Why would you want to run a tire on the front of a snow bike? I’d think if there wasn’t enough snow to warrant a ski, there’s not enough to warrant a track. As far as studs go, there’s varied opinions on them, anything from Tapcon cement screws to the original gold screw. All depends on how...

A water tote cage is 1 m3 so just shy of 36 ft3. A cord is 128 ft3, so 3.5 totes stacked nice would make a cord.

32”x48”x96” isn’t a full cord either. That only works out to 2/3rds. 48”x48”x96” would be.

Dry poplar burns just fine in terms of low smoke and spark, but yes it is messy. Not only in terms of ash, but also for splitting with bark that peels off. My crusher cone fire pit gets a steady diet of poplar, just because it’s always readily available, and it’s been known to go through a cord...

Birch is supposedly the hottest burning wood in terms of BTU’s. It’s sought after here because it’s the best we have. Easterners that I know consider it garbage wood and prefer to burn oak/maple and other hardwoods.

I usually cut 16” lengths. That way you have 3 rows to make up a full 4’ in a 4x4x8 cord. Seen lots of people whine on FB about getting gyped on there wood. I usually split anything 6” and up minimum 4 ways. Also tons out there don’t know the difference on a face cord, half cord or even what a...

WANTED: Honda 85+ Big Red 250es

There are insurance companies that will still insure them. Cooperators being one of them. Just need an existing auto policy, as they won’t do stand alone.

Try Dawson Fischer also. He’s in Thorsby. Flips machines for a living. He’s usually reasonable.

WANTED: Honda 85+ Big Red 250es

I talked with you on messenger. They’re out there. All depends on how much effort you want to out into it. Said you aren’t scared of pulling wrenches. Find a rough one. Lots to be had for $1000 or less. As long as it has a good frame and a complete engine that preferably runs. Has good forks...

WANTED: Honda 85+ Big Red 250es

If you don’t want to pay, you’ll be looking for awhile, unless the right word of mouth barn find comes your way. $4000 gets you a half way decent 350x and $5000 for a liquid R. Prices are doing nothing but climbing. I thought there would be some sort of market crash, but it’s yet to happen.

Alberta Sticker License Plates for OHVs?

Personally I like the alum plate. I’ll hog the holes in it out or drill extra holes in it to match fasteners on a quad. I can take it off and transfer the plate to a new machine if I sell, and I think they’ll just plain outlast a sticker as far as legibility.

Alberta Sticker License Plates for OHVs?

They’re doing away with stickers to try and save 1.2 million, rather than looking for reasons to print more.

    50cc scooters adventure riding.

I’d check into individual county bylaws. They normally piggy back provincial regulations, but some counties add more stipulations. Single and double digit hwys are provincially controlled. Secondary (3 digit) and gravel are county controlled.

What causes brakes to do this?

Guessing the sliding pins are seized. Not allowing force to be applied to both pads equally. Betting the inside one is worn out considerably more.

No problem. Stayed there a few times in the past myself. The 2 older buildings are just that, old. But the new one is nice!
