If I were in your situation, I would try out the YFZ 450X It's similar to the "R" but is built for the trails with a narrower frame and a-arms. Unfortunately 3 grand won't cut it. Just a thought.
T-6's are for more of a stock bike and the T-5's for more modified engines. The CPI's are a good proven pipe for bigger engines also. Same with Shearers and Rockets.
HAHAHA that flyingfrenchman and his NOS energy bottle under his plastics!!! The first time I raced him I was quite surprised also. I think he's not telling us some of his mods:beer:
Yes I agree. I think a nice ported shee motor would be just fine. Have you heard about the new "serval cat" cylinders from CP? They look the same as "cubs", but with lower port timings. The first ever run on one ran 80HP and 50flbs of torque, running on pump fuel, +4 timing, 34mm carbs and some...

I think I might be interested in doing this conversion throughout the winter. We'll see:d
Oh, and another one! http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=88068&st=0
A few people have done the conversion successfully. The one major things to fabricate is the exhaust as it doesn't fit past the frame rails on the yfz 450.
There was one guy on bansheehq.com that did the conversion with a PV'ed RZ 350 engine that turned out sweet. Do a search for it. He had...
The only thing I like about what these guys are doing, is the photography. They get some sweet shots but guys like this give all riders a bad name. Don't get me wrong....it looks like a real fun time, but it wrecks it for us.
These guys call it "poaching" check it out
I'm sending my old axle back first to see what they will do for me before I go and buy the RPM. The only thing I don't like about the RPM is, it's only adjustable to a +2" . The g-force I have is a +3 5/8". I already bought my rims at a specific offset and would hate to lose width.
I measured...
Well besides sending my bent axle in for warranty inspection, I found a couple other things wrong. I now need a new rear rotor, the rubber engine inserts in the case are toast. Most likely from leaving them in when I PCed the cases, I did a leakdown test last night that isn't up to par and now I...
