That may very well be true and 50 rides is multiple seasons for most guys. However I've been able to ride 3+ seasons on all my boots with 30-50 rides per year with fairly aggressive riding. So there is no reason why other people can't do the same things. Just gotta take care of them and of...
What length of sled do you use this with? With my 154 g4 I have an issue with the front being too heavy
The bar across the front doesnt touch the belly pan because the chain case and brake hit the bars running lengthwise
I think I'm going to have to make the bar across taller. So they don't...
I was told the same thing, 11-13HP with the stock can and clutching. Any can should work tho as long as it's a quiet can.
No loud cans allowed.
I was told if you pair this with an obnoxious can it will actually rob 11-13HP
Maybe I'm not explaining what I'm looking for properly. I'm trying to figure out the distance from outside edge to edge for the superglides on one position. Like if the sled is sitting in the center position. How far apart are the super glides under each ski from outside edge to outside edge...
Can anyone with a Marlon or similar style deck tell me how far apart their super glides are from outside edge to outside edge? I'm trying to figure out what the normal placement is for ski stances when I put glides on my new flat deck.
Thanks,
Had them on my old freeride KYBs, they are rough on the trail but were good for jumps and bumps, definitely harder to initiate and hold side hills but if you're strong it doesn't matter too much. I would say you are Better off to re-valve your KYBs if your aiming for comfort tho. The sliding...
The expert is 700 more than the X. but you are right, 700 bucks extra is for the coated shocks plus 1 piggy back rear, hand guards and remote limiter. All the rest of the 14 changes should actually cut the cost of the machine.
Although I disagree with you saying to have them add the accessories...
Just sold my 16 freeride with a brand new engine in it on warranty for 7 it had 6700kms on the sled. Mine was also a 154 3inch track, with the clutches redone and new belts and freshly revalve shocks, with a heck of a lot of aftermarket parts. I'd say this guys a dreamer.
My only real issues and Its they're not really issues, just my preference is that the hand guards and adjustable limiter strap come as options. Hand guards sure I can just take them off and it's like they were never their, no big deal. But the limiter strap adjustment now that's a part that...
Just because I've got a box of aftermarket parts I like to put on my sleds year after year doesn't make me an expert, I'm far from it actually. But rather than gamble on what's gonna come out, I have just found what I like and what works for me and it just makes sense to buy those and cycle them...
People don't wanna be forced to pay for something they don't need or want, that explains the hand guards. Also I think most of us have given up on the idea of no torsion springs, that's probably why no one mentions much.
I don't really use the hand warmers anyways, and I dont know how much the wheelie over backwards comments are true, I'd have to ride it to know for sure I guess but I believe shock set up and riding style would play more into wheeling over backwards than the tunnel.
