Hate to break it to ya but the hot start problem on your old engine was probably just the high pressure oil system Orings. The injectors are powered by a high pressure oil pump and the system must meet at least 500psi to start. When the engines hot the oils thinner and will leak passed the...
True about the watts but what about amps for led lights? LEDs don't usually draw very many amps compared to normal bulbs. Depending on how big the light bar is of course.
Any one know of someone in Canada that might carry such a product? Found tons of Chinese crap on eBay and a good one from the states, but looking to save on exchange and shipping/ brokerage fees. Here's an example of what one would look like.
It's just makes it so you can plug into any...
Where were you guys riding? We're you encroaching on the heli-ski land? I've heard of that lots in that situation. Doesn't mean he's allowed to do it, just would be his reason. If your out of bounds and riding in their tendered land or on closed to sledders land this is a pretty minor thing to...
How is the actual light output on the anso's or recons? A few buddies put recons in 09 f150's and they were terrible! Way less then stock and had to install aftermarket HID's in them to put out. So with the HID's and headlights it got pretty pricey.
Low air pressure in the front shocks really helps getting it on one ski. If they are high when you do the initial tug to lay it over you're lifting the whole sled from the start. With the pressure lower the inside shock will compress so you can get the ski coming up with less effort. You can...
Under 450L you don't have to have placards I believe, but look up TDG regs just to be sure. It has to be tied down inside your trailer, that I know.
They'll fine you if pulled over and a barrel isn't tied down. AV gas is called 100LL which is "100 octane Low Lead"
If you go mechanical go with autometer liquid filled boost gauge and a AEM air fuel gauge with wide band O2 sensor. The cheap not liquid filled boost gauges suck! They flutter around like panties in the wind lol. AEM air/fuel gauges are top notch! It's all I run, I like the look better then the...
"As lean as 14-16" which I meant may see that is ok and it is. Ask Neil owner of Boost-It. By low load I don't mean cruising across a field. I mean those times when the groomed trail to the alpine is so smooth you can cruise with the boost gauge in vacuum or slightly down hill. As soon as the...
4 strks can run as lean as 14-16:1 cruising down the trail at a low load situation without any problem. If it's running at 11.9:1 in the midrange you're just wasting fuel. Merc's numbers are right for WOT but idle is good around 13:1 and like I said cruise can be way leaner without hurting it.
So what's different about a TKI belt drive that doesn't require mods for a turbo? What mods are you guys having to do to a C3 for a turbo? I run the C3 with oil delete on my 12 M8 with a TSS turbo. No mods were necessary... Just put it on and ride.
I'm running the TAPP primary and team secondary on my TSS M8.
I think the stock clutches are plenty strong enough, it's the consistency that I found wasn't that good on them. Whether it's their design or ****ty Chinese machining I don't know.
You could have it dialed right in then the next pull...
Haven't run the Vipec but can tell you the Boost-It fuel system is not a $400 Bandaid... It works amazing and Neil and TJ's customer support is top notch!
People will always argue that the complexity of a standalone could yield higher hp numbers... Which is dandy if you just rev up your sled on...
Lmao!
Sounds like this is some D-bag taking advantage of people that don't know how buying AV gas works. Most airports are just credit card swipe machines, so really anyone that pulls up to the pumps fuel up at those airports. Bonnyville is like this. Others are still set up with a lock and you...
