Just got back from Emma, same as the other posts on here, talked to the people that groom up there and they won't start grooming till they get more snow.
I have a 07 M6 and on my first ride of the year yesterday I couldn't get it to pull more than 6400 RPM. I am riding in the prairies and have the proper weights in as I go from the mountains to the prairies all the time. When it gets up to 6400 rpm it seems that its almost cutting out like a...
Rode Emma again this past weekend and the snow was alot better. We didn't see much in the way of grooming but we weren't doing alot of trail riding. We rode up to Bittern and back. But it was snowing on and off all weekend so I am sure the groomers would have everything looking good by now.
Most of the trails around Emma are clear, but when we got onto the Candle side there was still quite a few down. We didn't make it up to Elk Ridge so I'm not sure what they are like past Anglin lake. I should be heading back up again this weekend so I will post if I get out and have any new info.
I was up there all week last week, and there would be just over a foot now but it is really pounded out. The groomers would be out by now and with the holiday traffic all gone and more snow in the forecast it will only get better.
Rode the trails around emma this weekend and there is enough snow to ride but it would be nice to get some more so they can start grooming. Didn't find any open water, which is usually common this time of year up there.
I am wanting to go from Emma Lake to Little Bear over the holidays for an overnight trip and back the next day. Does anyone know what the distance is roughly? and the best route to take?
There is club's but as long as you have plates on your sled your are able to ride the trails.
On here they have all the trail maps for each club as well as there contacts.
