I too have a cross-trax deck going on 3 years, loading and unloading the ramp is relatively easy for one person. The extension is nice to have for the shortbox cause I can take it off and not have the overhang when not hauling sleds. No cracked welds just the plywood is starting to look bad and...
Typical Vancouver, would have happened if they won or lost.
Lived there and all I can say is chithole. Boston and the tough Canadian Boys layed a beaten on the European pussies in Vancouver.
Now the riot will start for all the bandwagon jumpers.
Was there many years ago, still laugh about the Siberian Tigers. They were raised from kittens and they had a small dog a Pug and he would go into the cage and them Tigers would cower in the corner till he was gone. A couple of 600 lb Cats cowering because of a 10 lb Dog, that was a sight to see.
I use straight 30 lb Mono and rarely loose them. As long as they don't take the fly deep.
You could use plastic coated wire leader and wrap it 4-5 times and heat the coating with a lighter to fuse the plastic, holds up excellent and a strong connection.
I love Pike in the Spring, just walk...
Here is my 08 M8 with the Cutler Stage 3 Turbo, finished for me and ready to ride by Deano670. A work in progress with more to follow next season.

Sorry for the poor pics, its been cold and when I did ride it I wasn't taking pics.
Thank you Deano,
Had some seat time on it and all I can say is WOW, my arms are sore from holding on. Ski's stay a foot off the snow and she pulls hard at 10 lbs boost and surprised in the lack of turbo lag.
Need to get it to the hills to see what it was built for.
Need a turbo installed...
Lots of rope, lighter, emergency blanket, first Aid kit, vise grips, sm crescent wrench, extendable magnet. Saskatchewan chrome (duct tape), spare belt and spark plugs. Yeah I know it gets heavy but better than not having.:d
Got this elk Sept 17 near Spirit River, opening day of rifle season. Was packing the bow, but was running out of daylight. Bugled this one in, had two other's answering. The lead bull and this one with another satellite bull. Had to make the 100 yard dash to get to where he was coming out.

Windy day, head down and I nailed my STF deck, put me to my knees, but no blood.
The wife walked into it twice, sold that deck for that reason, always worried about parking at malls, etc.
Funny thing is I got up quickly and looked around to be sure no one seen the mishap, wouldn't want to look...
I recommend Mountain Haven B&B in McBride.
