I found getting a good beleclava made a world of a difference to if my goggles would fit up or not . The KLIM beleclava with the nose piece that goes down works unreal. It was night and day.
Yeah and i kmow a few other sidewinder riders that don’t have flaps either! Just make sure you always put scrathers down unless you got fresh snow on the trail lol. Cheers
I took mine off and haven’t had any issues at all. Few really icy trails last year . I always drop off the side a little bit into deeper stuff now and then to . But I did cut my yamaha logo off the bottom of the flap and rivet it to the top as you can see, but doubt that does anything for cooling.
I’m running 8LR00 weights loaded up to 73G on a stock sidewinder with Cr straight pipe last season. Worked awesome . Pretty much bang on 8750 rpm climbing in deep snow.
