Your right, i checked the MTNTK web site, mine was called the drop in kit with head and timing key.

Just a thought, if your kit is the MTNTK performance kit, did you put the off set timing key in the proper way??

Yes, I am running mtntek drop in, running pump gas and have rode valemount and Blue river for 5 days riding. Not sure how many miles. I am going to do a compression test tomorrow just to see where its at.

I figured timing key was not put in, did not think about in backwards. Glad you found your problem though. Good luck going forward.

Fyi i didnt vent my cap, i went with the skidoo cap. Shhhhhh!!!

I did same as you on the oil thing when i did the mtntek drop in, found to be using to much oil with pumped turned up and vented cap. I am slowly turning pump back down and monitoring oil use closely.

When you did the mtntek drop in did you put the timing key in? Also exhaust valve springs? You didnt mention that. It comes with the kit.

I like what i see from the kurts kit but wanted the tensioner so I went c3 set up. Im going to try my 2.30 first and see how it works.

What gear count do you have to get that ratio? I also just bought a used set up for my 13 pro, bottom gear is 53 top ones are 24=2.21 and 23=2.30 not sure where im gonna start. I am running the kurts clutch kit also.

Why did you take this kit off your sled? I am reasonably new to the pro and just thinking I should do something. How much you looking to get for your kit?

Don't use a catadyne! Way too much moisture, you will have water dripping off every screw in the trailer. I installed a used 40,000 btu rv furnace, works awesome, vents all moisture outside and does not use up my oxygen.
