This reminds me of the arguments professional sports teams use when they want governments to pay for a new arena so they won't pack up and go somewhere else. People will spend their money, if they don't spend it on camping and quads they will spend it on something else, you want to argue that...
I am struggling to see any of those things you listed as 'messing up' thing. Fines for littering campers, good. Helmet laws, are you serious? Increased fines for crossing waterways, so I guess the laws existed and people were ignoring them. Banning OHVs during one of the worst fire seasons...
Umm, the previous governments did all of the prep work on this, it was pretty much ready to happen when the NDP came in, pretty much guaranteed it was going thru no matter who was in charge. And the conservatives are the ones who created all of those other wildland parks we enjoy, as well as...
So now you have to sell your old sled for a couple grand less than you hoped, but you can buy a new one for almost $4000 less, still seems like a win to me.
Thinking, buy a King Cat, swap my Elkas on to it, put the stock shocks back on and sell the old sled (M8000, 3000km) for $3700.00. Sell...
Not sure they need a new chassis at the moment, they seem to have pretty munched honed this one, if they keep on refining it and shaving weight where they have determined they can it is probably good for a couple more years. I almost think that the other brands replacing the whole chassis every...
Yes you are right, went and searched for it and found this from spring 2013
If you look at the number of 6000 C-TEC2 powered sleds for 2014, you’ll see just one, the El Tigre
but then found an announcement of the m6000 in September of that year.
Cat admitted that they had an issue with one of their suppliers and had to find a new source, so they had to restart their whole testing procedure over again. Hence the year delay. Suppose they could just stuck the new parts in, run them for a month and then called it good and released the...
McLean creek is usually rutted as hell from the quads. There are trails that are supposed to be snowmobile only, but since no one actually goes there to sled no one ever complains. So if you could get out the after a BIG snowfall that the quads can't handle you can probably get a day in before...
I had this happen on the right side of my sled, shop said it was because the throttle/switch housing was loose and could rotate, that broke the wires to the hand heaters but the thumb was fine because it rotates with it.
