No natural gas here, 100% electricity for heat, hot water, well pump, shop, cooking, etc.
This winter it is about $280-$340 for electric bill. Come summer my electric bill will probably be back down to its usual summer cost of about $70-$90 per month depending on how cold or hot it is.
I spent yesterday delivering a semi load of fuel, no issues, all went great, happy customers, and it was about 1pm already before I actually even thought about it being Friday the 13th. I'm not superstitious, no problem walking under a ladder, or crossing the path of a black cat either.
I just splurged and bought my daughter and I new BCA Tracker 3 beacons, and a bunch of other stuff. Almost $5700 later we are sporting some new gear. I hate thieves!
I don't actually remember who it was that was saying tesla was the hot stock to buy, because it would only keep going up and up...it was 2 or 3 months ago. Per share tesla has dropped a lot more than most others.
Being as how tesla loses money year after year, it was just a house of cards...
Sounds like some of you ride in huge groups, bigger than I am comfortable with. I find anything past 8 in a group is just too much, and I see if a few wantto break off into a smaller group with me. Ideally the group is a maximum of 6 though, as even 8 is a lot, 2 to 4 is perfect.
The item I find really over priced is the avalanche airbag backpack. I can understand them being $300, but see many that cost $1000 to $1200, it is nothing high tech. Tomorrow I'm planning to go buy some new gear, beacons, shovels, probes, packs, goggles and helmets. By far the most expensive is...
Slippery slope letting them stay free so be careful and make them sign an employment contract that clearly states they can be evicted anytime for any reason...and if fired they must be out within one hour.
I rent house and them rent back to my employees, and I own some homes I rent to them as...
I guess assuming that people can back up their trailers was overreaching on my part. Spent 32 years now driving truck, backing up a quad wagon, super b, jeep and lowbed, or whatever is second nature to me, so i find my 26 foot enclosed sled trailer a breeze.
Well mine will be turboed next winter, and I will gladly let someone video me climbing beside a doo turbo, and post it on Skidoo and Mud.
Apples to apples aka turbo to turbo will be a good comparison. I am certain that my daughter will be glad to climb beside a doo as well, so it can be compared...

I ride with ladies more than I do gents.
Interesting that some people are in awe that women ride.
And its almost more odd this group is not both genders.
Everyone is equal once the engine starts, who cares about gender.
If concerned about getting out of a road, back in, then if you can't make it just drive out. Having driven low bed trailers for years, if there is a concern, I back in. Last fall I backed in 8 kms, no big deal at all. Worst case scenario I got stuck. Walk into the machine, use it to push the...
About 10 years ago I had a company come in and lift some areas for me. In the end it just made a mess, and finally 2 years later I just busted it out with the excavator, and had it professionally redone. Hindsight I should have just busted it out to begin with is all I'm saying.
Call about annual insurance coverage in BC for an Altima vs. Tesla...let your mind be blown by how much more the tesla costs. Broken batteries in a crash are a real hazard and big replacement expensive. Plus the cost to fix either in a fender bender, or pay out if totaled, drives the insurance...
