I want to thank everyone that has offered to have me tag along for your rides, BUT being as green and new to this as I am and not knowing my sled very well I was hoping for smaller, shorter trips, closer to Calgary........

yes to the belt and no to the plugs.... it is a 4 stroke and to change the plugs you have to remove the seats, the stearing wheel and 3/4 of the sled....LOL........ I do carry them but I would NEVER be able to change them on the trail......

Yeah I was going to pack some bars and some water every trip, this is more stuff that will just stay in the bags and only come out if I need them......

I have less than 300 KM's on it.......
I will only be trail riding or in ditches and so on, NEVER in the mountains with this sled.......

I have read some of the posts... Looks like Cataract Creek is popular... I am a begining rider, only been out on my sled two times. Once for fun in some ditches and the second time I went to Whitecourt with some other people for the snow rally last year.....

So I have an 08 Yamaha Venture MP. Looking to find out how to properly store it for the winter and the cheapest way to do it. I live in the city and it will be stored in my un-heated...
True, and a good point... I just figured there might be some simple ones I could get out of the way.... Lighter exhaust, different belt or pully's or something........
