I'm going to be installing a full AAEN exhaust and a Boondocker Box on my 12 Pro 800 RMK this fall.
Been wondering whats the best feedback to go with to tune the fuel map.
I've used dual exhaust gas temps in the past on my old carbed machines but haven't tuned an EFI machine before.
There...
Wow. I didn't think it would weight that much, knew it was quite a bit though. I have e-start on mine but I switched to a Lithium (EarthX) battery last year. Stock batt was 15#s and replacement was 2.6 #s. Was hoping the whole setup would be under 10 by now but guess I'm still sitting around 18...
Also I know AAEN is not the favorite pipe out there but I've had great luck with his pipes in the past on a phazer and a XLT. Completely different machines but thought I would give it a try since it has a nice big power band according to DynoTech's research and ugly welds don't bother me as...
Thanks Guys.
I've thought this over for a bit now and I'm going to run a fuel controller now anyway. I guess before I was just trying to save a few $$ but even if it doesn't lean out (which isn't worth the risk anyway) I would still probably be giving up a few HPs by not giving it enough fuel...
Completely normal. I've been told before that the oil reservior on sleds always seems to gravity feed a bit of oil down into the crankcase when it sits for a few months. Older machines definately seem worse. I re-routed the exhaust valve drain down to the can and stuck it through a belly pan...
Hi Guys. I've got a 12 800 Pro with 900 miles. It has a 13.6:1 PA head , HPS can, Fire n Ice intake, and a Boss Noss kit. I bought a AAEN pipe and can combo for it this summer.
I'm planning on opening up the top end to check the cylinder skirts for cracking and the pistons for excessive slop...
I've been riding with the 08-09 Klim Freeride pants for 4 seasons now. Great pants, have a decent gator that when buttoned on to your laces will keep snow out. Lightweight and Durable. I ripped them this year on my running boards but they had taken many slides down the running boards and been...
I bought this sled second hand and was told it had warranty until this Sept but I thought that was only engine and the chassis warranty was only one year, but I'm not sure about that. I haven't talked to Polaris yet. I'll try stopping in at Cycle Works in Calgary here with the shock and see...
$500 Ouch. If I can't find a used one might as well get an aftermarket one for that price.
Shouldn't be worn out sled only has 900 miles. How many did you have on it?
Sounds like Polaris bull anyway, shocks should just start to get bouncy not blow wide open.
Hey Guys
Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to there rear skid shock as well. Blew on the trail out of Mustang Powder a couple weeks ago. I was hauling some ass but no hard hits I noticed and then the rear end began to buck and bottom out hard. I figured this is what had...
I installed a tether on my Pro earlier this season. I heard a story of a very experienced rider earlier this year that went out for a quick rip by himself (which isn't the best practice either but I have done it many times as well). Anyways he was doing some jumps and same thing, flipped the...
12 Pro. Has a PA 13.6 head, HPS can, Fire n Ice intake, and Boss NOS kit. 230 miles before me and 800 miles total now. Been great so far. Blew the original belt last ride. I'm changing the steering bushings and cut some steel plates to cap them with and replace the aluminum ones for the...
I'm very happy with these cans. I've got two 1.3's on my Pro 163. Haven't lubed it at all yet and they are a bit stubborn to get on and off but will try the dish soap befoer I go out next. The only thing I found is they both leaked when I first got them and I had to shave the ridges left from...
