Myself and a buddy are wanting to go hit some trails this weekend. We were hoping to take the dirtbikes and small holiday trailer. Looks like most places open July 1. Any ideas? Open to travel 3+ hrs from Edmonton.
Thanks
Looking for a place to ride this weekend, last minute planning. 2 guys on dirtbikes, is this trial a good choice? Any campgrounds nearby or possible by chance to camp at the staging area? Small holiday trailer.
Thanks!
I bought this last summer. I havnt used it a lot but probably have drove around 500km hauling my cr125 and so far I have no complaints.
My neighbor also bought one and hauled his bike behind his motorhome this summer, I dont think he has any complaints either.
When using it I also...
Wondering where in Alberta (Closer to Edmonton the better) would be a good place to take an old Polaris? Hopefully just needs a tune up and possibly jetting worked on.
More specifically 1973 Polaris TX340
Thanks
I've got a 1987 Mercury Force 125 outboard that has been sitting for a few years and need recommendations on where to take it. The big name places don't seem to like to work on the older motors.
I'm willing to drive a couple hours from home (St. Albert) to find the right place.

Just wondering where a good shop would be to take my '76 yamaha?
I moved from Calgary recently, I used The Old Motorcycle Shop there, wondering if there is a place like that in Edmonton (or St. Albert/Spruce Grove/SherwoodLeduc)
I can do most work myself but electical is not my stong point...
"do you always have to come into my office right after i fart?"
"The left lane is for faster traffic you F&^kin 80km driving reject"
"I am NOT impressed by your Affliction or Tapout t-shirt thats 3 sizes too small and I'm certain your a big p#$$y"
I have recently moved to Edmonton, currently living on the West side and working in St Albert, just looking for any suggestions for a snowmobile club to join thats relatively close, Im thinking about joining soon so I can help out with trail clearing etc.
I have turned it by hand, didnt hear anything but I will try again, am I saving anything (money wise) to pull the engine and top end myself to try and see what the problem is or am I better of just leaving it together and taking it in?
ok, so the last ride of last winter my sled quit. If I pull the rope very slowly it will turn over but if I go to pull it like I'm going to start it it will stop dead and I cant move it. My riding buddy beleives the problem to be in the bottom end.
The machine is a 2005 summit 800
Any...
Now that I have moved to Edmonton I will have to hit up a bike night, one the bike is outta the shop that is.
Speaking of taking the bike to the shop does anyone know a good shop for old bikes (76 yamaha custom) in Edmonton/St Albert??
In Calgary I used "The Old Motorcycle Shop" just need...
Just had a couple of questions.
First off I am taking my parents and my sister and her husband out on their first quadding trip to the DC3 plane crash site in July. My question is, with the trail not being a very long trip in/out is there other trails that a guy can hit from that staging area...
Already spent a good deal of time on google maps trying to figure out where this years motorcycle trip should be, as well as this years golf trip! Other than that quadding and joining a trap shooting club this summer.
I was at Golden (Quartz) last weekend and I woudnt hesitate to take a 121 up there. They had groomed both ways past the cabin, and especially with the conditions now I think a 121 would be fine.
But then again I am one of these guys that still lends my 136 to friends to come to the hills...
Headed to Quartz on Sunday with a first time mountain sledder, hopefully the conditions will be ok, if anyone has pics from this week would be gret to see.
The only one of my sleds I have been out on ths winter is a vintage 76 Polaris tx340.
I also have a Rupp that runs but not too well, needs some restoration.
(has a blue tint widsheild with chrome trim for added HP since pic was taken)
