I have both. They work great. Keep the gb40 in my back pack with jumper leads. Just keep in mind it's not an instant jump start. It needs to trickle charge the battery a little bit first. Or at least that's how mine works but I have had mine a few years.

But yes trail was open. Getting real bumpy on way down but like mention must have been couple hundred sleds. We left at noon and people were still rolling in. Snow was good but lots of hike and open creeks.

Still a badly corroded connection would cause high resistance and for other things not to work a well. Could also explain the lights too.

I know you said you checked the plugs on the 7 way on the truck but did you check for corrosion on contacts in the 7 way. Had I 2012 with the same problem and it ended up having badly corroded connections. Get some contact cleaner and sand paper and clean them.

I have a 12 and that's when they had the most problems. I believe the 14-15 had most of those worked out. They handle different then the 2 stroke and in low snow conditions are a little tougher to handle I find. But other than that I still riding the thing. Nothing more fun the boosted four...
I got the same bike and it has lots more low end grunt then any of the 450s out there. but still heavy too heavy even with boost. It would be like comparing my m1100t with mods to m8. More power but the weight of the bike would drag the performance down. It is light street bike at less than 400...
Two long ropes one on each spindle so that they can slip back and forth. Tie one end to one sled and the other to another. Repeat on the other spindle. Now as you start pulling if one sled loses traction or slows the other picks up the slack until they even out again.
So four sleds in total...
